How payments are processed and the transaction currency is determined when the card has multiple currencies
- Transactions are automatically processed in the original currency of the purchase, provided that the matching currency has sufficient balance. If the balance in that specific currency is insufficient, the amount will be deducted from the main card currency (JOD) first. If the JOD balance is also insufficient, the deduction will be made from the currency with the highest available balance. If the total balance across all currencies is insufficient, the transaction will be declined
- If a transaction is made in a currency that was not added to the card, the amount will be deducted from the main card currency (JOD) first. If the JOD balance is insufficient, the deduction will be made from the currency with the highest available balance. If the total balance across all currencies is insufficient, the transaction will be declined
