Housing Bank Supports Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans

The Housing Bank- the most widespread bank in the Kingdom- announced its support for the Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for the years (2022-2025), as part of its social responsibility program, with the aim of educating and empowering the youth of the Al Aman Fund.

The bank will support a group of orphan students who have spent most of or all their lives in an orphanage that is affiliated with and/or registered with the Ministry of Social Development.

The support includes paying university tuition fees, living expenses, self-development, and capacity building. The bank will provide educational scholarships to orphans according to the criteria adopted by the Al Aman Fund within the academic fields which include universities, colleges, and vocational training centers, in addition to materials and resources necessary to facilitate their learning and self-development journey.

To support the living costs, the bank will provide students with their needs such as housing, personal needs, and health insurance in addition to a self-development program that aims to help them adapt to the difficulties and challenges of life and achieve self-fulfillment. This capacity building program enables orphans to find job opportunities and help them build networks with institutions, while giving them the cognitive and behavioral skillsets to develop their personalities with the aim of entering the labor market.

This comes as part of the Housing Bank’s national development role at the societal level and its belief in Al Aman Fund’s distinguished role in supporting and empowering orphans of both genders through providing academic and vocational training, giving them the necessary skills and abilities to be positive and productive individuals who are capable of creating a sustainable livelihood.

To achieve its social responsibility strategy objectives, The Housing Bank has many partnerships and agreements in this field and always seeks to provide support and care to institutions interested in education.

Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, an initiative of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, supports young orphans across the Kingdom by providing academic and vocational training, living expenses, health insurance, counselling, self-development and capacity building throughout the study period.
