President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) HRH Prince Faisal Bin Hussein honored the Housing Bank for its unwavering support of the committee's work with the country's elite athletes at its annual iftar. The ceremony, which took place at the Kempinski Hotel, was attended by President of the Jordan Football Federation HRH Prince Ali Bin Hussein, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation HRH Princess Aya Bint Faisal, HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid, and Chairperson of the Olympic Preparation Program HRH Princess Zaina Rashed, as well as high-level figures, members of sports federations, representatives of media outlets, and JOC supporters and partners.
The Housing Bank's continued backing of the Olympic committee is directly in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy to encourage the ambitions and achievements of young Jordanian athletes, who have become exemplary ambassadors for Jordan in the international arena.
The Housing Bank highlighted the efforts of the JOC, headed by Prince Faisal, in the positive development of Jordanian sports over the years, allowing the Kingdom to compete and win in major sports events both regionally and internationally. The achievements of the country's athletes, which are a source of national pride for the entire nation, have reinforced Jordan's pioneering and competitive role in the field of sports.
At the ceremony, Prince Faisal recognized Jordanian athletes for their triumphs at international and Asian sporting events, in addition to honoring the stars of the national basketball team after they qualified for the World Cup.
The iftar was also the perfect opportunity to recognize JOC supporters and partners for their efforts in serving Jordanian sports and athletes towards further achievements.
