Housing Bank, the most widespread bank in the Kingdom, sponsored was a gold sponsor of the Jordan Association for Medical Insurance (JAMI) conference. The conference titled 'Towards Comprehensive Health Coverage in Jordan 2021' was held under the patronage of former Prime Minister Dr. Omar Razzaz at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, Dead Sea.

The conference, held on October 30-31, covered a number of topics; comprehensive health insurance as a national priority and international obligations, governance and quality control, sustainable health funding and the role of non-governmental sectors and civil society institutions in achieving comprehensive health insurance.

The renewed sponsorship of this conference is within the Housing Bank's continuous efforts to establish strategic partnerships with a number of purposeful national associations and institutions, in addition to supporting the objectives of the Jordan Association for Medical Insurance. Furthermore, enabling healthcare providers in the Kingdom to contribute to improving performance, access to knowledge, providing health care services and developing national frameworks to achieve fair and comprehensive health insurance in Jordan.

The Housing Bank, a member of the Jordan Association for Medical Insurance, is a major supporter of its activities and the annual conference, which sheds light on many health issues that are of concern to citizens and society especially since the association includes various sectors of medical service recipients. The association facilitates contracting with medical authorities and improves the efficiency and quality of medical services while maintaining the prices of all medical service providers, including doctors and hospitals.

The Bank had a pavilion at the conference where it shared its prominent banking products and services, particularly digital ones, with participants and those interested in the healthcare sector.
