The Housing Bank sponsored the Rahman table set up by Tkiyet Um Ali at Mahatta area within its Ramadan campaign (Your Zakat is a mercy), with the participation of staff in the Housing Bank in catering Iftar to needy families.

The Housing Bank provided its annual support to Tkiyet Um Ali by donating the sponsorship of Rahman table and distribution of a number of food parcels to needy families, as an embodiment of the Bank's vision of the importance of supporting institutions that deal with the poor and needy.

This support is a part of the Bank's strategy in performing the national duty towards this group of members of the society, confirming the Bank's assuming its social responsibilities, and in an effort to apply the methodology of social solidarity. The Bank used to support charitable foundations and associations that target various aspects of charitable and humanitarian work, through participation in the implementation of pilot projects where images of solidarity and compassion are embodied in the Jordanian society, to achieve greater security, stability and prosperity of our beloved country.

Tkiyet Um Ali is the first non-governmental organization that provides humanitarian meals and aids on a daily basis to the poor and needy of the Jordanian people in all locations. (Towards Jordan free of hunger) goal, which Tkiyet Um Ali seeks to achieve, is consistent with the goals of the Housing Bank based on the support of the communities in which it operates.
