Housing Bank sponsored the 61st Annual Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, organized by the Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein and held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Talal. The event brought together more than 50 embassies and diplomatic missions accredited to the Hashemite Royal Court.
The bank’s sponsorship reflects its recognition of Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein’s longstanding humanitarian role and aligns with its ongoing efforts under its social responsibility program, Imkan by Iskan. Within the program’s social empowerment pillar, Housing Bank continues to support initiatives that deliver direct assistance to beneficiaries and strengthen the role of civil society organizations.
The bazaar, held at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman, featured the participation of numerous diplomatic missions, with all proceeds dedicated to providing shelter, educational, health, social, recreational, and counseling services for orphaned children and those affected by family disintegration between the ages of 6 and 18.
It is worth noting that Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein was established in 1958 by Her Majesty the late Queen Zein Al Sharaf to provide social and educational services, as well as psychological, social, and legal guidance for children. The foundation also offers humanitarian aid in the form of financial and in-kind support, along with training and counseling programs.
