The Housing Bank, which has the largest and most extensive banking network in the Kingdom, was the exclusive banking sector sponsor of a breakfast meeting organized by the Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) on April 10, 2019, which was held at the Jordan InterContinental hotel under the title "Recent Developments of Interest to the Private Public and Private Sectors."

At the event, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Tariq Hammouri spoke about a number of pressing issues facing both the public and private sectors , discussing the outcomes of the London Initiative 2019, a conference that brought together donors and investors with the aim of furthering the country's march towards a more sustainable society, as well as all the latest developments from the opening of the Turaybil border crossing between Iraq and Jordan.

The breakfast was attended by a number of top executives from the Housing Bank, European ambassadors and trade attaches, as well as representatives from official institutions and Jordanian trade unions.

The Housing Bank's exclusive sponsorship of the breakfast is part of its continued commitment to support conferences, seminars, and economic activities that work to highlight and develop the national economy and achieve sustainable and comprehensive development, while simultaneously supporting the government's efforts to tackle the current economic challenges facing the country.

The Jordan Europe Business Association, which is a non-profit association, was established in 1994 with the objective of reinforcing joint cooperation between the Jordanian private sector and its European counterparts, concentrating on export processes, investment, and joint projects in the industry, trade, and services sector, as well as introducing companies in the Jordanian private sector to business and trade opportunities in Europe.
