On behalf of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, HRH Princess Raja bint Talal honored volunteers of the Siwar Al Hussein program during the annual gathering, held at the Amman Academy theater.

During the ceremony, HRH Princess Raja bint Talal presented an honorary shield to Mr. Ahmad Al-Khader, Chief of Operations at Housing Bank, in recognition of the bank’s exclusive and continued sponsorship of the Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering Program, as well as its role as a strategic partner in supporting the Foundation’s mission and initiatives.

The event also recognized a large group of young male and female volunteers who have played an active role in supporting the Foundation’s programs and campaigns, and in assisting patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center. Volunteers were honored for their contributions across awareness campaigns, fundraising efforts, logistical support, and direct assistance to patients and their families.

Housing Bank’s exclusive sponsorship of the Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering Program reflects its corporate social responsibility strategy and its firm belief in volunteerism as a fundamental pillar of community development and social solidarity.

It is worth noting that Housing Bank is a strategic partner of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, supporting a number of key initiatives, most notably the annual charity gala, the university scholarship program for students with cancer, and comprehensive care efforts aimed at supporting patients facing challenges related to their illness and treatment.
