A group of volunteers from Housing Bank’s Imkan by Iskan team participated in a harvest event by the Arab Society for the Protection of Nature (APN). The harvest activity is one of the agricultural projects under The Green Caravan program by APN, which falls under the bank’s ongoing sponsorship of the program as a Diamond Sponsor for the fifth consecutive year.

This participation extends the bank’s continuous support of the program within the framework of its strategic partnership with APN. The collaboration aims to expand green spaces across the Kingdom, support small farmers, and help them secure an additional source of income. These efforts fall under Imkan by Iskan, the bank’s dedicated social responsibility program, in line with its objectives to support civil society organizations and initiatives that encourage volunteerism, drive environmental growth, and foster social and economic empowerment.

The bank has contributed to supplying trees and improving crop quality, ensuring the sustainability of the program through the economic returns it generates. These returns are reinvested into expanding agricultural activities and supporting future production cycles, reflecting Housing Bank’s commitment to embedding sustainability across its community initiatives.

It is worth noting that The Green Caravan program, launched by APN in 2003, embodies a comprehensive development vision that promotes awareness of the importance of planting fruit trees as a cornerstone of civilization. It also supports underprivileged communities by providing additional income sources, reducing poverty and unemployment, ensuring the sustainability of natural resources for future generations, and reinforcing environmental awareness across the Kingdom.
