(Elia Nuqul Institution) and the (Housing Bank) sign an agreement to offer scholarships to students of public universities


In a move that will strengthen the cooperation and partnership between Elia Nuqul Institution and the banking sector in the Kingdom and contribute to the empowerment of the youth and help them realize their ambitions by completing university education, the Institution has recently signed a partnership agreement with the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance whereby the Bank provides scholarships for a number of students of Elia Nuqul Institution in public universities.

These scholarships, which focuses on specializations associated with the banking sector, extend to cover all tuition fees in addition to the monthly expenses of the students.

This partnership, signed by Ihab Saadi, General Manager of the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance and Ghassan Nuqul, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elia Nuqul Institution at the headquarters of the Housing Bank, seeks to increase the number of beneficiaries of the scholarships offered by Elia Nuqul Institution to university students and help the greatest possible number of those students to complete their university studies, which would create new success stories and the development of the Jordanian society.

Commenting on this occasion, Ghassan Nuqul, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elia Nuqul Institution, stressed that the Institution engages students in all development programs provided by the Institution in addition to the curricular and extracurricular trainings to develop their skills and prepare them to enter the labor market, thus helping to provide the society with scientific and professional competencies capable of giving.

For his part, Ihab Saadi, General Manager of the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, stressed that the Bank's participation in this program comes as a confirmation of commitment to its social responsibility in support of the education sector as a main road and path in the construction of a distinct society, and the vital engine for various business, where progress and development is a reflection of many factors, notably education.
