In line with its national responsibility and humanitarian role in facing the exceptional circumstances the Kingdom is going through in light of the emerging coronavirus disease, Housing Bank, the largest and most widespread bank in Jordan, has announced a donation of 100,000 JOD to the Ministry of Health.
This donation is a commitment by Housing Bank to its social responsibility to support the efforts of the Ministry of Health in providing the necessary medical care for the infected patients and those suspected of carrying the new coronavirus. The Bank believes in the importance of combining the efforts of the private and public sectors in order to alleviate the crisis and provide the necessary help to the health sector in its fight against a disease that is directly affecting the national economy negatively.
Housing Bank has implemented several awareness and prevention programs in all its departments and branches across the Kingdom with the aim to safeguard its employees and customers and reduce the spread of the disease, in compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health. The Bank believes that all national institutions should allocate a portion of their social responsibility budget to support the health sector in its fight to protect lives against this disease, which is the ultimate goal and duty of every institution and individual among us.
