Al Wehdat Club Wins Housing Bank Basketball Premier League 2019-2020

Al Wehdat Club has won the title of the Housing Bank Basketball Premier League 2019-2020, after winning the last round of tournaments held at Al Hussein Youth City/ Prince Hamzah Hall against the Orthodox Club.

The championship kicked off in early November 2019 and continued until the end of January 2020, under the title 'Housing Bank Basketball Premier League', where a number of professional clubs competed for the championship title.

Marwan Al-Khouli, Head of Operations and Support Group, crowned the winning team in the presence of Mohammad Alayyan, President of the Provisional Committee of the Jordan Basketball Federation, and a number of the Bank's employees and representatives of the Federation.

On this occasion, Al-Khouli pointed out that the championship achieved all its desired goals of highlighting the role of Housing Bank as a leading banking institution that attaches great importance to the youth and sports sectors, saying that the Bank's sponsorship of this key sporting event stems from its recognition of its role towards the various segments of the Jordanian society, in addition to being a direct implementation of the Bank's social responsibility programs that target youth and sports.

Al-Khouli expressed Housing Bank's appreciation for the Jordan Basketball Federation's efforts to spread this sport and support sports clubs in the country.

The President and members of the Provisional Committee of the Jordan Basketball Federation also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Housing Bank's sponsorship of this championship, and its support of the Federation's efforts to revive, promote, and expand the reach of Jordanian basketball.
